About this data
NH Police Jobs puts New Hampshire’s police, sheriff and state law enforcement job openings in one list. Every listing comes from the hiring agency’s own posting and shows the date it was last checked there.
Where listings come from
- The agency list starts from the FBI’s Crime Data Explorer, which lists the New Hampshire law enforcement agencies that report crime data, plus statewide and campus agencies that hire officers. It now has 206 agencies.
- Websites, jobs pages, addresses and phone numbers come from each agency’s own website or its city, town, county or state government website.
- Job openings come from the employer’s own posting: the agency or town website, the State of New Hampshire’s job site, or a posting the employer placed with the New Hampshire Municipal Association. Pay, bonuses and closing dates are copied as posted. If a posting doesn’t state pay, neither do we; nothing is estimated.
How often it’s checked
Listings are rechecked against their sources on a regular schedule. A listing is removed from the open-jobs list when it disappears from the agency’s site or its closing date passes, and the page hides any listing whose closing date has passed since the last check. The most recent check was on October 23, 2026.
Always apply through the official posting
This site doesn’t take applications and isn’t affiliated with any police department, town or the State of New Hampshire. Postings change, so confirm the details on the agency’s posting before you apply.
Corrections
If a listing is out of date or wrong, email [email protected] with the link to the official posting, and it will be checked and fixed.
